Scandic profiled Beam Currently Greenside Company provides 6 variants of the Scandic profiled beam that differ in thickness and height and are intended for various types of realty ranging from summerhouse to a three-storied hotel. Raw materials used for Scandic glued beam production consist of winter storage pine grown in Altai and Arkhangelsk, Altaian larch and Altaian cedar. Glued beam with 160mm section corresponds to log with 240mm section. Beam’s coefficient of heat transmission resistance is 1, 7 times more than log’s. This type of beam is recommended for small country-houses for summer residence building. Scandic Luxe beam is made of 4 panels and has 3 glued seams. Compared with 160 mm height beam Scandic Luxe profiled beam is more efficient for relatively big buildings. Smaller number of rows makes the building look more aesthetic.
